This week the Digital Leaders have been learning the importance of not taking or copying images and text from the internet without permission from the owner of the work. We used Pixabay to search for free images (ensuring that Safesearch was enabled so the images were child friendly) and saved those images to our files so that next week we can use those images in Textease to create information posters.
“I didn’t think it mattered if I used pictures that didn’t belong to me. I thought everything on the internet was free. I’ll tell my Mum about Pixabay.”
“It was really easy to search Pixabay for pictures and I could find most of the things I was looking for.”
